Language-editing

Language-editing includes proof-reading and copy-editing. General comments may also be made about the general layout and clarity of the document. The scientific content of the document will not be edited.

Documents should be submitted as Word documents. Editing will be done using the ‘Track Changes’ feature in Word. Two copies of the document will be returned, one with ‘Track Changes’ enabled, allowing you to see what changes have been made. The second document will have all changes accepted. The edited files will be returned after payment has been received.

Language editing does not replace the peer-review process of most scientific journals and publications. It should shorten this process by allowing the reviewer to concentrate on the scientific content of your document.

Reference Check

References will be checked for consistency and for citation in the main text. The reference list should be included at the end of the main text in a Word file. References will be charged on a per word basis.

The contents of your manuscript will remain confidential. It will not be reproduced in any way.
